On June 1st, 2003, the church celebrated God's parting of the waters and the shining of his son Jesus Christ.

The event included an ice cream social, a special children's sermon by Reverend Salmon in his clown makeup, Liturgical dancing, and music and song by the instrumentalists and congregation.
