This site is dedicated to Special Ministries at Grace and some of the Social and Religious events we have enjoyed. To put it in perspective, Site 1 is dedicated to 'what we are' and this site is dedicated to 'what we do'. The plaque below has special meaning to us at Grace Presbyterian Church. The theme, "Amazing Grace", not only contains our name, but is the title of a song that was written by a slave trader seeking forgiveness and salvation. The religious definition of 'grace', "devine love and protection", was first really demonstrated by Jesus on the cross with the two sinners being crucified next to him (the three-cross symbol). The head of Christ in the center of the plaque was drawn by a Grace member a few years ago and I scanned it and made it a graphic. The plaque itself was found at an internet site by our ministers wife while we were looking for an appropriate gift for a departing member. I was able to combine the two and create the below tribute to our church and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It became the cover to our new church directory.
